Hello and welcome to Ione Elementary School. My name is Mike Huss, and I am the principal of Ione Elementary. I grew up in Ione and attended Ione Elementary from kindergarten through 8th grade. I have spent over 40 years of my life on the Ione Elementary School campus as a student, school custodian, classroom teacher, and now the school principal. My wife Karen and our two children also attended Ione Elementary. My goal as principal is to support the staff, students, and families and to help everyone see that Ione Elementary is a truly special place for students to grow academically, emotionally, and socially. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and talk with you.
